
40 Civil Engineering Students of D. Y. Patil Engineering Secured Placements in Leading Companies
D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, has achieved another milestone in campus placements as 40 students from the Civil Engineering Department secured job opportunities in reputed companies through the campus recruitment drive.
The selected students received placement offers from leading organizations including D. Y. Patil Construction, SJ Construct, Laxmi Organics, and several other renowned companies from the infrastructure and construction sector. Among the total selected students, multiple students secured placements in core civil engineering and project-related roles, reflecting the department’s strong industry-oriented training and academic excellence.
The college management highlighted that continuous technical training, aptitude development, group discussions, interview preparation, communication skill enhancement, and industry-focused learning initiatives conducted by the Training and Placement Department played a vital role in the students’ success.
The institution has consistently focused on preparing students for professional careers by providing hands-on technical exposure, project-based learning, internships, and placement-oriented activities. The achievement showcases the growing trust of industries in the quality and capabilities of D. Y. Patil Engineering students.
The placement drive was conducted under the guidance and support of Executive Director Dr. A. K. Gupta, Principal Dr. Santosh Chede, Registrar Dr. L. V. Malade, Training & Placement Officer Prof. Sudarshan Sutar, Placement Coordinator Prof. Makrand Kaingade, Civil Engineering Department Head Dr. Kiran Mane, faculty coordinators, and department staff members.
